Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Queue Cam (queue-cam.pages.dev). Queue Cam is run by [Business name] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms.
1. What Queue Cam is
Queue Cam shows a low-quality photo of the queue outside a venue in Stellenbosch, updated about every 2 minutes. It is meant to help you judge how long the queue is before you head out. Queue Cam is an independent service and is not linked to, approved by or run by De Lapa or any venue.
2. Your account
- You need an account with a valid email address to use Queue Cam.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account can be used on one device at a time. To use it on another device, log out on the first one. If you get a new device, you can switch your account to it yourself once every 7 days. If you lose your device, contact us.
- You must be 18 or older to subscribe.
3. Subscription and payment
- The subscription costs R15 per month, including any VAT that applies.
- You are charged when you subscribe, and then automatically every month on the same date until you cancel.
- Payments are handled by Paystack. We never see or store your card details.
- If a monthly payment fails, your access ends when the month you already paid for runs out.
- If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies. You can cancel before then.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel any time using Manage subscription on the Queue Cam page. You will not be charged again, and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for. See our Refund Policy for details.
5. Fair use
You may use Queue Cam for your own personal use. You may not:
- share your login with others, or resell or republish the photos;
- use the photos to identify, follow or harass anyone;
- try to get around the login, payment or device limits, or overload the site.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close your account for a reason that isn't your fault, we will refund the unused part of your month.
6. What we can and can't promise
- We aim to keep Queue Cam running on the nights people go out, but the camera depends on power, internet and weather. There may be times when no new photo is available.
- The photo shows the queue at the time it was taken. It is a rough guide only, and the actual wait may be different. Entry to any venue is up to the venue.
- Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law.
7. Limits on our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on a photo, such as time spent waiting in a queue or a missed entry. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will email you before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
9. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. Questions or complaints can be sent to [Email address]. Our full details are on the Contact page.
